The UDT-812A-12 / UDT-814-12 Automated Dissolution Tester is the newest apparatus for dissolution testing required by USP. This 12-vessel dissolution tester is designed for easy operation and built to operate continuously. There are 12 vessels for sampling; the two additional 300 ml vessels can be used for blank, standard or media replacement.
The built-in heater circulator saves bench space. There are electronic controls for sampling probe positions in different media volume sampling. Paddle and basket heights are set electronically. The no-vibration and self-calibrating design ensures all tablets dissolve at their true speed and same temperature.
Several options are available with the UDT-814-12 including an automatic sampling manifold to automate the instrument with other systems such as automatic sampling systems(UV or HPLC sampling systems) The password protection feature secures the test methods. It also avoid the user errors. For manual sampling, 12 syringes can be mounted on the side to pull the samples at the same time. For tablet dropping, all samples can be pre-loaded on a tablet-dropping tray and dropped into 12 samples simultaneously. A printer records the test data(time, speed, temperature, etc) during the test for completed documentation.
